Richard enjoys working with people and understanding how they think and behave.
In each photograph there is a narrative that aims to make a statement about the person or scenario. This can vary in its ‘depth’, from an arguably kitsch ‘Child’ photo through to a postmodern interpretation of pre-raphaelitism.
In addition, his imagery also explores more conceptual work, considering purely form and tone.
